Katjana Gatterman will give a lecture about her research on the mediated personalization of EU politics in Den Haag on Wednesday, 27 September. The symposium is about the new politics of Europe and also features Frans Timmermans and Luuk van Middelaar, among others. Judith Möller and presented her work with Damian Trlling and co-authors about algorithmic design and its impact on diversity on the “Digital Media, Political Polarizaton, And Challenges to Democracy” Symposium at the Austrian Academy of Sciences last week. On Wednesday this week Judith will participate in a live radio debate about the German elections organized by the Amsterdam University College.

Michael Haemeleers participated in the International Metropolis Conference in The Hague to present work on populist communication and to discuss practical implications of this research.
