Anke Wonneberger

Anke Wonneberger (M.A.) is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communications Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. The goal of her research project “Sequential patterns of television viewing” is to explore television-viewing behavior in the Netherlands over the last two decades. Within this project Anke focuses on patterns of news viewing. In particular, she is interested in the relationships between individual and structural determinants of news exposure and in the impact of a changing news-viewing environment.

Anke studied Communication Science at the Free University Berlin and Cultural Science at the Humboldt University Berlin. In her master
thesis, she investigated the Europeanization of cultural journalism in Germany.
