Matthijs Elenbaas

Matthijs Elenbaas is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) and University of Amsterdam. His dissertation and current research examines how media coverage informs public opinion about the European Union.

Matthijs also teaches on topics in the field of political communication and public opinion. He has taught at the Department of Communication and the International School of Humanities and Social Sciences (ISHSS) at the University of Amsterdam.

Matthijs holds a master’s degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam, where he graduated with honors.
