Maud Adriaansen

Maud Adriaansen (MA) is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communications Research (ASCoR). Her current research focuses on the relationship between media reporting, political cynicism and voter behavior. On her website you can read more about this research project. Maud studied Political Science at the University of Amsterdam and Economics at the VU University in Amsterdam. She wrote a master thesis about the application of political marketing in the Netherlands. She is interested in several topics in political communication, political science and economics, for example election campaigns, opinion research, political attitudes, media effects, public administration, economic voting, political economy and political marketing.
