Moniza Waheed
Moniza Waheed is a PhD candidate at ASCoR. Her research focuses on the differences and/or similarities of values in political speeches between developed and developing countries. Her research includes studies on speechwriters, political speeches, news articles on political speeches, and the effect of the speeches as well as news articles on people’s attitudes toward political issues.
Before joining ASCoR, Moniza underwent a M.A in Communication program at Western Illinois University. Her thesis was on the Heuristic and Systematic Biased processing of Political Messages: Effect of Candidate Preference on and the Level of Interest in Politics on Attitudes toward Issues.
