Sabine Geers

Sabine Geers is a lecturer at the Department of Communication Science, University of Amsterdam. She defended her PhD thesis entitled “Informed Floating Voters? The Impact of Media on Electoral volatility” in March 2017. Her research focuses on election campaigns, voting behavior, and media effects research.

In 2011, she received her first Master’s degree in Communication- and Information Sciences at Tilburg University and in 2012 she completed a second master in Political Communication at the VU Amsterdam. Before starting her PhD at the University of Amsterdam, she worked as a junior lecturer and researcher at the VU for a year.
