Sanne Kruikemeier

Sanne Kruikemeier (MSc) is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communications Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. She works on the project “Online Political Communication”. This project tests a number of key assumptions about the positive effects of new, online communication strategies on citizens’ political engagement. The project investigates the use, contents, and consequences of online political communication by Dutch political actors.

Sanne studied Sociology at the Utrecht University. After her graduation she has worked as a researcher at NIVEL.
