PhD Candidate

Ambika is a PhD cadidate at ASCoR. Her research focuses on citizen corrections and building resilience to combat misinformation. Specifically, the project examines the psychological motivations, social dynamics and contextual factors that influence citizens willingness to correct misinformation online. She holds a Research Master’s Degree in Communication Science from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (Sociology, Political Science and Economics) from Christ University (India)
