CPC and the ASCoR Program Group on Political Communication & Journalism was represented by 11 paper presentations at the 6th European Communication Conference in Prague. We are proud that Carlos Brenes Peralta won the Political Communication division’s top abstract award. His abstract of the paper “Desired vs. Correct Conclusions: The Motivated Selection of Balanced Content”, that is co-authored by Magdalena Wojcieszak, Yphtach Lelkes and Claes de Vreese, received the highest reviewers’ scores of all submissions for the Political Communication division at the conference.
