Among other things, EDMO reports to the European Commission about the main trends and other key research findings relating to disinformation. The Advisory Board, composed of experts who act in their individual capacity, provides guidance on strategy and monitors the Executive Board’s compliance with the project guidelines and principles.

Alyt Damstra (together with Laura Jacobs, Mark Boukes and Rens Vliegenthart) publishes timely paper on the impact of immigration news on anti-immigrant party support in JEPOP. Alyt and co-authors found that, over time, general immigration news positively impacted anti-immigrant party support, while other parties’ support did not increase. Read the paper here.
