Andreas Schuck delivered a talk on “Framing and the ‘pictures in our heads’ – News frames and their effects on audiences” at the annual conference of The Dutch-Flemish Association for Investigative Journalism VVOJ in The Hague (for more information, see here).Claes de Vreese and Katjana Gattermann participated in the 35 year European Election Study jubilee conference in Mannheim (see more information here). They presented a joint paper (with Wouter van der Brug) that studies the preference formation of citizens towards the European lead candidates put forward during the 2014 European Parliament election campaigns.
