Today we throw our doors open to high school students in the Amsterdam region for an event about the Dutch elections that take place in a week’s time. The goal is to stimulate the interest of future first-time-voters and inform them about the effect of the media in election campaigns. We have a full program of mini-lectures, a discussion session with comedian Niels van der Laan, and several workshops about how to research political communication in election campaigns. We are delighted to welcome the students to the UvA!
