Ernesto de León (PhD, University of Bern) is a postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR), University of Amsterdam, and a member of the Public Values in the Algorithmic Society (AlgoSoc) consortium. His research uses innovative computational methods to examine how online political information consumption shapes political identities and behavior, and how social media platforms and algorithms influence citizens’ engagement with news.
