On Friday, November 7, 2025, the MSCA Doctoral Network IP-PAD (Interdisciplinary Perspectives on the Politics of Adolescence and Democracy) held a one-day conference on Adolescents and Politics, co-organized by CPC members Bert Bakker, Gustavo Couto de Jesus, Céline Laffineur, and Jakob Kasper.

We welcomed over 40 participants at the University of Amsterdam for a day filled with thought-provoking discussions and new insights. The program featured keynote talks by Eveline Crone (Erasmus University) and Ellen Claes (KU Leuven), a dynamic roundtable discussion bringing together practitioners and scholars to explore key challenges around adolescents and politics, and poster sessions showcasing the work of 22 junior scientists.
