Last Friday, Sanne Kruikemeier and Damian Trilling each gave a presentation at the methods of journalism conference in Leiden. Sanne talked about mixed-methods and Damian about automatic content analyses. In addition, Sanne gave a talk about the influence of social media during an election to the youth department of D66 (Jonge Democraten). Next Wednesday, Sanne will give a talk about news consumption in a digital media landscape at the ‘Have I got News for You’ symposium of the Social Media Club Utrecht. Next week Wednesday, Mark Boukes will be speaking at De Balie about satire (see here).
