New talks and interviews

micCPC-related researchers are not only busy with the US elections but also deal with other pressing questions  – although certainly research into populism is very informative these days. Last week, Joost van Spanje was interviewed by “Heute Journal” of the German TV broadcaster ZDF about the Wilders trial in the Netherlands. Bert Bakker‘s research on populism as well as physiological responses to political communication was featured on the Dutch programme “Kennis van Nu” (see the show here). Erik Albaek and Claes de Vreese published an op-ed in a national Danish newspaper on the relationship between media and politics, based on an edited Danish language issue of a journal (see link). And this Friday, Claes de Vreese gives a lecture about media, politics and framing to the ‘Kennis voor de Stad’ (which is an initiative by the UvA/VU, City of Amsterdam, and KNAW).
