Longstanding tradition at VU and UvA including book series by Brants and Van Praag and series by Kleinnijenhuis, Scholten and de Ridder. Currently Sabine Geers (PhD student) works on a project on media and volatility in the Netherlands. A couple of years ago Rens Vliegenthart published a book addressed to a general audience ‘U kletst uit uw nek’.
About CPC
The aim of the Center for Politics and Communication is to provide a forum for scholars, journalists, political actors and others interested in political communication. Director of CPC is Claes de Vreese (University of Amsterdam). The board consists of Frank Esser (University of Zurich), Rens Vliegenthart and Magdalena Wojcieszak (both UvA).
