Teresa Valle

PhD Candidate

Teresa Valle is a PhD candidate at the Amsterdam School of Communication Research (ASCoR) at the University of Amsterdam. She is working on the project “Visual Politics and the Emergence of Angry Publics” under the supervision of dr. Ulrike Klinger, dr. Linda Bos, and dr. Alessandro Nai. Her research focuses on visual political communication, and how visuals may be used to represent and elicit political anger. More concretely, she examines anger both as a visual strategy and as an effect among audiences. Teresa holds a Master’s degree in Political Communication from the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), and a bachelor’s degree in International relations and Organizations from Leiden University (The Netherlands).
