The project studies potential electoral consequences of legal prosecution of (members of) Anti-Immigrant Parties, and the role of media therein. Under supervision of Joost van Spanje, the team consists of Rachid Azrout, Laura Jacobs, Lisanne Wichgers, Sjifra de Leeuw, and Roderik Rekker. The project is called ‘Defending or Damaging Democracy: Legal Action against Anti-immigrant Parties in Europe and its Effects on their Electoral Support’, and is funded by NWO’s Vidi grant.
